Strong year for Margot Robbie.

Undoubtedly one of the most compelling and highest-grossing stock market movies of the last decade is The Wolf of Wall Street.

The film is also a springboard in Margot Robbie’s career. A few days ago, in an interview for her new film Babylon, she shared that one of the strongest moments for her in her career was her participation in Martin Scorsese’s film. Before she was invited to test photos, she did not even imagine that she could ever be noticed by Martin Scorsese. Her performance opened many doors. Since then, she’s played everything from the Queen of England (in Mary Queen of Scots), to a real life doll (in the upcoming Barbie), to a total psychopath (Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad).

In the interview, she shared that she had no problem crying on command. – “I’ve done 300-odd episodes of a soap opera, so I’ve had pretty good practice at crying on cue!”
“I’m just thinking about something sad.” – that’s her recipe.

But in her real life, she has nothing to be sad about. Her acting career is enviable. At 32, she has two Oscar nominations and has starred in some of the highest-grossing films.

However, the last year still puts her to the test. While filming Barbie with Ryan Gosling earlier this year, she shared that she experienced one of the most humiliating moments of her filming career. This summer, paparazzi snapped countless photos showing Gosling and Robbie on the set of the movie, dressed in head-to-toe fluorescent suits and rollerblading on the beach. While it was easy to assume that the film’s creative team might be staging a publicity blitz, Robbie said that was not the case.
Given that the scenes in “Barbie” were shot on location in Los Angeles, Robbie said she couldn’t believe how many people showed up to watch them.

“I can’t tell you how humiliated we were, by the way,” she said. “We look like we’re laughing and having fun, but we’re dying inside.” We are dying. I said to myself, “This is the most humiliating moment of my life.”
